Message I think i remember talking to a while back - i will repeat for your and anyone elses benifit since with 20 year old cars this will need to be done

Valve cover = plenum pull = top of the engine gets ripped off. Good time to do a egr delete and pcv relocate and get rid of misc water lines under the plenum. EGR delete because most likely with those many miles the egr is blocked anyway and since FL has no emissions... why waste the money for a new EGR. PCV relocate to solve the oil burning issue under cornering and improving future servicability. Water line delete to improve reliability by reducing potential coolant leaks. Given the high miles and FL heat MOST likely your EFI harness will be toast - i would factor in that replacement as well.

120 k service requires radiator pull and ripping of the entire front of the car. Good time for an underdrive pulley and water pump overdrive if you are so inclined.

Rear main seal requires pulling of the tranny - good time for a clutch and drive shaft center support bearing and good time to go over shiter bushings etc if they are bad.

If your engine / tranny is good, you like the car and want to hold on to it doing what i listed makes financial sense otherwise not. If you have old style injectors i would seriously recommend switching to new style injectors because they WILL die, its just a matter of time WHEN they die. Fact is 20 year old cars need maintenance to survive.

I don't mean to scare you but what i said above are facts and there is no way around this. Spending the cash to fix it up IMO is still a lot cheaper than finding a replacement nowdays.

Hope this helps and if you need specific costs or a quote i can provide it offline
